School Parking

With over 200 children arriving and leaving school each day along a narrow lane, it is important to try very hard to make this as safe and helpful to parents and residents as possible. The observance of these few simple rules by all parents would help us maintain a positive safety record and good relations with our neighbours in the lane.

Parking
  • Only Reception and qualifying Year 1 parents (issued with passes by school office) to park in the turning circle please.
  • All other parents use the recreation ground in preference to the lane.
  • Please do not park on the entrance to the recreation ground.
  • Where the lane has to be used, do not block drives or entry and exit points to the lane.
  • Never park at the front of the school.
  • Do not use the staff car park and block the access for deliveries or emergencies.
  • Do not reverse or turn into staff car park entrance.
Driving
  • Drop your speed in the vicinity of the school
  • Take care when turning and reversing with small children around
  • Show residents and other road users the utmost in good manners and courtesy.
